NUTRITION

Our facility is a member of the Chicano Federation Food Program. we will provide children with two fun and nutritional meals, as well as two snacks. Parents may provide special dietary food if necessary, food will never be denied to any child.

CLOTHING

For every child there should be a labeled change of clothing including a shirt, undershirt, pants, under wear, socks, shoes, or sandals for any out-side activities or for emergency cases. We will give back the clothes for whashing. Your child will be taking a nap each day. We will provide a sleeping mat with pillow and blanket for every child. Dress your child appropriately for the weather and comfortable. Outdoor play is part of our routine. Remember to label everything!

BRINGING THINGS FROM HOME

It is preferable that children leave their toys at home so that they will not get lost or broken, which may hurt the child's feelings. Children however are not restricted to bring a favorite "something" which may help the child feel comfortable and secure during our care. *NOTE Only for the first two weeks.

BIRTHDAY

On your child's birthday, we will celebrate with his/her favorite treat. If parents or legal guardian would like to bring something, we suggest a finger food such as cookies, brownies, muffins, cupcakes etc. We will turn our dinner into a party. Also, to make your child feel appreciated, in our bulletin board I will post a picture of your child as an honor to have him/her here on their birthday with us. If there is any disagreement on any of these, please let us know.

We hope you and your child feel comfortable with us. If you have any suggestions for a better service, please let us know. Have a wonderful day!
